Official changes regarding fees and taxation in the territory of the Republic of Turkey have been published. Among them:
VAT rate for the purchase of real estate.
18% -> 20%
8% -> 10%
1% has so far remained the same.
Payment for mobile phones imported into Turkey from other countries.
6000 TL ($230) -> 20,000 TL ($768)
Government Service Fees.
Obtaining a passport, residence permit, registration at the cadastral office, notary fees, work permits and execution of any other documents are increased by 50%.
